Vinorama Wine Tour

Vinorama Wine Tour : a perfect mix of tasting, walking and authenticity

The adventure begins at the Lavaux Vinorama. A one of its kind, welcoming and educational place that is the Centre for discovery of the Lavaux wines and terrace vineyards. The Lavaux Vineyards are inlcluded in the UNESCO World Heritage list, with almost 200 participating cellars.

You will stroll on paths among vines on a 45-minute walk in the vineyard with a local person. You will pass through the wine-making village of Rivaz, one of the most beautiful of the area. A well-deserved stop at a renowned winemaker awaits you, where you can visit one of the most amazing wine cellars of the region. You will visit it and its barrel warehouse where modernity and authenticity meet. Then you will enjoy a tasting of one white wine and 2 red wines from the same wine cellar.

At the end of this exclusive moment, you will go down through the vineyard back to the Vinorama (ab. 30min.). On the way there you can enjoy the outstanding panorama over Lake Léman and the Lavaux vineyards, a unique sight. Back at Vinorama, you will watch a superb film about work in the vineyards, followed by a tasting of 3 white wines made from the king varietal of Lavaux, the chasselas grapes.

Someone from the region will be with you during the walk, the visit to the wine cellar and the tasting. Do not hesitate to ask them all your questions.

The activity takes place in any weather ; cosed-toe shoes recommended ; good overall fitness required
